Tennessee Tea Cakes and Truffle tea cakes
Francis Barkley was the founder of the original “Tennessee T-Cakes” company. Mountain Jim’s used her teacakes for our “Whistlin’ Dixie” ice cream flavor. When Ms. Barkley passed away in 2012, she took her recipe with her, and her business closed.
Mountain Jim’s experimented in the kitchen and, by 2018, had successfully replicated the original teacake enjoyed by many. Today, we offer four unique Teacake flavors plus four more Truffle Teacakes, packaged 11 different ways.
Our Whistlin’ Dixie ice cream also captures the magic using Tennessee Teacakes in the recipe along with our Smokey Mountain Pecans for a truly Southern experience.

Mountain Jim’s also brings you eight unique Ice Cream Grahamwiches, each featuring a different, delicious dairy desert sandwiched between two full-sized honey graham crackers.

Mountain Jim's was born in the hills of Tennessee in 2003. All Mountain Jim's products are made with the finest ingredients so you can enjoy a healthy indulgence. There are no artificial flavors, no high fructose corn syrup, no colors or food dyes.
Mountain Jim and his three sons love hiking and their passion for making ice cream, tea cakes and Smoky Mountain Pecans was developed in the pristine hills of Tennessee. All Mountain Jim's products are sampled and tested by Mountain Jim and his three boys.
